    Education Officer has closed Golden High School in Kasese municipality

    The Kasese Municipal Education Officer, Mr. Emmy Kayiri has suspended the operations of Golden high school in Kizungu cell, Nyamwamba division in Kasese municipality over non-compliance.

    Mr. Kayiri told this radio that other than operating illegally, the administration offices, including that of the head teacher, director of studies and bursar`s office among others, were operating in the learners` dormitories that have no beds. Mr. Kayiri speaking1………

    Mr. Kayiri who condemns the school for operating without a laboratory, library and washrooms among others, wonders how a parent could be comfortable sending his child to a school that has no safety guarantee.

    Mr. Ivan Nahabwe, the school head teacher said they were aware of the licensing minimum requirements of which he said will be in place by the end of October this year. Mr. Ivan speaking……..

    He however called for lenience of the Municipal officers but in vain. END
