The East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1,443-kilometer project connecting Uganda to Tanzania, continues to make steady progress despite facing logistical hurdles.
As of February 2025, approximately 30 kilometers of the pipeline have been successfully laid, marking a key milestone in its development.
This update was shared by contractors DDG and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) during a flag-off event at Namanve Industrial Park, where 10 additional trucks were deployed to transport pipes from Nzega, Tanzania, to Mutukula, Uganda, according to Winnie Anyango, AGL’s contractor director. END
