The way of the Cross in the Diocese of Kasese has been launched in Kyalhumba parish with a call on the youth to cast their burdens on to Christ, the conqueror of suffering and death.
Rev. Fr. Expedito Masereka Kisembo, the Kasese diocesan Pastoral coordinator who represented the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira asked the youth in Kyalhumba and the Diocese at large to emulate Christ whose suffering brought relief and salvation to the world.
He said the forty days excise through Kyalhumba Parish should be used to guide the Christians into the importance of prayer, reconciliation, alms giving, fasting, forgiveness and peace building for purposes of serving God and uniting the Church of Christ. Fr. Expedito speaking…
