Community members, mainly drug users in Bukonzo County East in Kasese district, have asked government and her development partners to popularize community outreaches aimed at promoting good health.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after a community health outreach organized by Action for Community Empowerment and Rehabilitation-ACHA, in Kisinga town council and Kyondo sub county over the weekend, some community members, mainly, cyclists and drug users, including, Mr. Alex Bwambale, the Kisinga Roundabout Washing Bay Ghetto chair, commended Mr. Cleous Bwambale, the ACHA, director for the outreach that included among others, the HIV testing and counseling among others. Mr. Robert Bitswatswa, an officer with ACHA, said the exercise was mainly to counsel and test their clients, some of whom lived recklessly with a mind that they were either sick or useless to the community. Over twenty youths mainly drug users, benefited from the free medical check-up exercise. END
