As the National Resistance Movement celebrates her 37th anniversary today, the former Minister of defense, Hon. Dr. Crispus Kiyonga calls for double efforts aimed at combating corruption which he says has remained a big challenge to the ruling government.
Dr. Kiyonga said in their first ten point program, number seven which is corruption, has had challenges to neutralize majorly because the efforts against the vise were still not enough and the fight not fully supported by the local population. Dr. Kiyonga speaking1…….
Addressing a press conference at the Kasese district NRM’s office based in Kasese municipality yesterday, Dr. Kiyonga however hailed the ruling government for properly intervening into the education plans that have seen primary and secondary school education promoted in Uganda.

Dr. Kiyonga could not imagine that by 1986, there were only three medical doctors and only one teacher, the late Mzee Lazaro Muhindo who qualified to head a secondary school.
He asked the Kasese People to celebrate this day by appreciating the milestone in the areas of security, education and employment where Kasese district has provided a number of professionals, including High ranking Military officers, medics, lawyers, Engineers and teachers among others despite some challenges.
