Kasese Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Ferigo Kambale has described the recent appointment of Dr. Chrispas Kiyonga as New Chancellor of Makerere University, as a blessing to Kasese District.
President Museveni appointed Veteran Politician Dr. Kiyonga as head of Uganda’s oldest University, succeeding Prof. Ezra Surumna, who assumed chancellorship in January 2016.
Addressing the press today in Verina Gardens in Kasese town, Ferigo who said Dr.Kiyonga has had long career in public service, was opportumistic that if properly utilized he will help to link students in Kasese district.

Yesterday, the Legislator honored his pledge of donating five Friesian cows to faith based institutions in Kasese Municipality, including the Anglican Church, Diocese of Kasese, Pentecostal church and Kasese Main Mosque among others. END.
