    Dr. Kiyonga has urged LCs to organize security meetings on increased theft among the youth

    Former Minister of defense Hon. Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga has decried increased theft in the community with a call on all local leaders to organize security meetings in a bid to address the challenge.

    He made the Remarks while speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at Safari gardens in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district shortly after their G8 meeting.

    Dr. Kiyonga said he was worried with the increased number of young people who are stealing using illegal guns.

    The Chairperson LC 3 for Kitholu subcounty in Kasese district Mr. Emmanuel Maliba reported that his sub county has no single police post that could help in dealing with criminality.

    The Chairperson for Isango sub county, Mr. Moses Tsutsu said they have started arresting all those buying and selling immature suspected stolen coffee. Mr. Tsutsu on security……

    Earlier, the Chairperson for Nyakiyumbu sub county, Mr. Peter Sunday Kakule had said most thieves have forced people to share houses with their domestic animals something he considered unhealthy. END.
