The Former Minister of Defense in Uganda Dr. Chrispas Kiyonga has urged farmers to adopt technology and modern farming practices in Kasese district.
Addressing mourners at the burial of late Private UPDF, Richard Ndathu 41 who was laid to rest at his ancestral Home in Lyakirema Village, Nyakiyumbu sub-county in Kasese District yesterday, Dr. Kiyonga, said despite the limited number of Agricultural extension workers in the district, farmers need to be innovative and turn their land more productive through adaptation to technology .
He observed need to equip farmers with information, technology and confidence to strengthen their capacities in order to benefit them and their families better. Dr. Kiyonga speaking…..
