President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga as the new Chancellor Makerere University.
Different people have since sent out messages congratulating the 72-year-old Physician, Politician and Diplomat on the new assignment.
The Vice Chancellor Banarbus Nawangwe in post on social media X states, on behalf of Makerere university council extended his warm congratulation to Dr. Kiyonga on this prestigious appointment and warmly welcomed him to the service of Makerere University.
Dr. Kiyonga replaces Prof. Ezra Suruma. END
