Kasese district health officer, Dr. Yusufu Baseke has commended Bwera school of Nursing and Midwifery for her medical camp programs he says need to be rolled to other areas for the good of the local community in the district.
Speaking to media shortly after presiding over the free medical camp organized by the institution in collaboration with Bwera hospital at Mirami primary school in Kyasenda one village in Karambi sub county yesterday, Dr. Baseke said for more than 500 hundred people to turn up, was a clear manifestation that the community is thirsty for medical outreaches.
Dr. Baseke underscored the need for timely medical tests which he said are key for timely interventions against any healthy challenges faced by an individual. Dr. Baseke speaking……..
Ms Eva Ithungu, the school Principal who said the pilot medical camp in Kyasenda will guide them on how to handle more in the near future, said whereas they had essential drugs, serious cases were referred to Bwera General Hospital. Ms Eve speaking……..
