Kasese District Public Accounts committee may fail to deliver up to their expectation, should the Chief Administrative Officer fail to facilitate the committee to execute their duties.
The committee Chairperson Mr. Felix Kato Soro told the media shortly after an evaluation meeting organized by Rwenzori Anti-Corruption Coalition held at the district headquarters yesterday, that whereas they have the mandate to monitor value of government money in all the lower local governments transport facilitation remains a big challenge.

Mr. Kato asked the Chief Administrative Officer, Mr.Amis Asuman Masereka and clerk to council to allow DPAC committee perform their duties on arrears in order for them to have timely audit reports.
Mr. Amis Asuman Masereka, the CAO Kasese district attributed the delay to Budget cuts and low local revenue collection.
