Poor school management that result into failure to adhere to the ministry of education and sports, and cultural institutions’ guidelines are largely the causes of moral decadency and some struggling schools in Kasese district.
Mr. Samson Mutahunga, the local council one chairperson for Mumbuzi cell in Kasese Municipality told education stakeholders, most of them parents and guardians during their meeting held at Kasese High School in Kasese Municipality that many schools have failed as a result of poor managements partly caused by grid for money and self-centered decisions that derail and force many school administrators to forget and surpass their mandates. Ms. Tobia Kyomuhendo, the Kasese Municipal Inspector of schools asked parents and guardians to ensure registration of their children at their respective schools as means to fully feed the Education Management Information system with the required information if government was to plan and provide for schools.
