The Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese Rt.Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has lashed at Kasese Municipality enforcement officers for allegedly rounding up and impounding ten cows belonging to the Diocese.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio today at his Office, Bishop Kibira was shocked about reports that the cows were impounded in grazing at Kasese secondary school premises by officers who claimed the animals were loitering.
Bishop Kibira, is demanding an explanation how cows grazing in the Diocesan land could be rounded up and impounded, vowing not to pay any fine to the enforcement officers who trespassed the Diocesan premises. Bishop Kibira speaking…..
By press time the cows were being kept in the Municipality kraal. END.
