Mr. Martina Bwambale, a seasoned politician intending to contest as the Kasese District local council five chairman come 2026, has called for concerted efforts against what he called open commercialization of civil service position acquisition in Kasese.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after declaring his intentions for the top district political seat yesterday, Mr. Martina called for an audit into the integrity of some members of the District Service Commission who do not only ask for bribes but from several applicants far beyond the job slots that are advertised.
The seemingly disappointed former Security Spy who described the current struggle for civil service jobs in Kasese as betting games, asked the youth against bribes for jobs but rather use the little resources they have as startup capital for private business. Mr. Martina speaking1…..Â
Mr. Martina, an NRM diehard, later asked the youth to engage in skills acquisition and enterprises, as well as other income generating activities for self-reliance. END
