Diocese of Kasese has rejected the orders for the cancelation of the land tittle owned by the Banyathereza sisters in Sayuni cell in Rugendabara town council in Kasese District.
The state minister for lands, housing and urban development, Hon. Dr.Sam Mayanja said the land tittle for the disputed piece of land was acquired in error now that their file did not have the area land committee minutes as required by law.
The lands officer Diocese of Kasese Rev.Fr.David Kiiza, said as catholic diocese they have disagreed with the orders of the state Minister, since they have a high court ruling that declared Diocese of Kasese as the rightful owner of Sayuni land.
