    Development partners in Kasese, have donated more relief items to mudslide survivors in Kasika village

    Mudslide survivors in Kasika village, Rukoki sub-county in Kasese district have received more relief items from development partners in Kasese with a call on the beneficiaries to put the donation to good use.

    Mr. Janickson Muhindo, the director for Creation Forum Afrika said his Foundation to patterned with Foundation for Urban Advancement-FURA, do as to make the donation more meaningful to the beneficiaries.

    Mr. Janickason who warned the beneficiaries against abusing the donation, said; beans, saucepans, hand washing containers and soya porridge are some of the items donated. Mr. Janickson speaking……

    Mr. Simon Buhaka, the local council one chairperson for Kasika village described the donation as timely to settle down the mudslide victims, most of whom had remained hopeless after the disaster.

    Ms Beatrice Kabugho and Christopher Masereka could not hide their smiles after receiving the donation they say was re-fixing their minds months after the incident. Beneficiaries speaking……

    Sugar, maize flour, sanitary pads, jerry cans, washing soap and cooking oil were also part of the donation today. END
