Some developers in Kasese Municipality have complained about the several inconveniences caused by the road construction works contracted by China Railway 18.
Mr. Edwin Kisembo and Ms Stella Kasoke, both shopkeepers said whereas they appreciate the development, watering of the roads to settle dust could have been a priority.

Mr. .Ivan Masereka a motorcyclist on Rwenzori road thinks the contractor would have worked on one road after the other, adding that the current construction works on all roads inconvenience them a lot.
China Railway 18 construction Company sociologist, Mr. Patrick Nyamunungu apologized for any inconveniences but said the current approach to the works on the roads in Kasese Municipality was aimed at enabling them to complete work in the scheduled eighteen months.

Earlier, Mr. Sulaiman Mwalimum, a shop keeper along Rwenzori road had told Kasese guide radio that he saw no reason of opening since customers feared the dust. Mud and risks by the graders.
