Married couples in the diocese of Kasese have been urged to desist from domestic violence if they are develop both spiritually and physically in their families.
Rev. Sr. Daphine Marie Kabugho Murungi of the Little sisters of the presentation of Mary in the temple warned that a couple that entertains violence all the time undermine spiritual and physical developments but quickly called for peace and unity for family development.
The religious who called for descipline amongst the youth and children later asked parents to join church movements to inspire the young ones.

Sr. Marie used the same time to announce the congregation’s silver jubilee celebrations in the diocese of Kasese and thanks giving slated for 5th October, 2024 at Bukangara Catholic Parish as two of their sisters will say their perpetual vows.
The Nun revealed that the Little sisters of the presentation of Mary in the temple was formed by the 1st Bishop Joseph Henry in the Diocese of Buthembo in DRC in 1948 and later expanded to the Diocese of Kasese in 1999 aimed at strengthening faith of the believers in Christ.
She also urged public to engage in charitable work but also asked them to spread Christianity in the society. Rev. Sr. Marie speaking……
Sr. Marie called on believers in Christ to embrace love, peace and unity as one way to cement their relationship with God. END
