    Deputy RDC Mubingwa threatens to deal with encroachers on OBR land in Kasese Municipality

    Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner in charge of Busongora County, Mr. Zepher Mubingwa has threatened to deal with the local residents reportedly encroaching on Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu land in upper Basecamp in Kasese Municipality.

    Mr. Mubingwa who said the Kingdom Premier, Rt. Hon. Joseph Muranga Kule asked for the intervention of the office of the RDC against the encroachers, said the Mbabo family that donated the land to the Kingdom had testified against the encroachers.

    He asks the suspected encroachers to leave before the long hand of the law catches with them. Mr. Mubingwa speaking1…….

    Mr. Mubingwa who said part of the land was procured by Government to the Obusinga-Bwa-Rwenzururu, said surveyors were to be deployed next week to open boundaries so as to deal with the suspected encroachers.

    Mr. Selvest Masereka, the Kingdom Minister for lands hailed government for the timely intervention, calling for collaborated efforts to harmonize the affected people. END.
