The Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner for Busongora County, Mr. Zepher Mubigwa has called for more sensitization of the community members to cause what he called a positive mindset about schools in the district.
Addressing education stakeholders during the release of UCE and UACE mock examinations by the Association of Secondary School Head Teachers of Uganda-Kasese Chapter held at St. Theresa Girls’ Secondary School-Nsenyi, Mr. Mubingwa said the improving examination results, were a manifestation that whereas the district was largely left with slow learners, the effort by head teachers indicates that teaching in the district was on track.
He asked parents and guardians to entrust Kasese with performing learners as a deliberate move to boost academics back home and attract students from other districts in Uganda. Mr. Mubingwa speaking …….

In the results presented Ms Mackline Kahuju from Kasese secondary school, emerged the best arts student with eleven points, as Kiiza from Bwera secondary school, is announced the best scientist with 10 points.
