Lt. Maate Magwara, the Kasese Deputy RDC in charge of Bukonzo County, has called for calm following reports under which the yet to be identified armed men are said to have broken into a house in Ighanza village in Mahango sub-county, beating its occupant.
Lt. Magwara, who rushed at the scene with other security officials this morning, denied allegations that the armed men who attacked Mr. Rabson Saadi Thembo are suspected to belong to the ADF outfit.
Addressing the press at his office in Kasese town, Magwara said police in collaboration with security agencies have started investigations about the incident, warning the local community about diversionary reports.

It’s alleged that the yet to identified armed men reportedly tied up the victim, Mr. Saadi and asked him to carry all his beddings before embarking on a journey down hills until he was sympathized with and told to return.
