The close working relationship between National Resistance Movement-NRM cadres and the District Party office is crucial in mobilizing for the Party ahead of 2026 general elections.
A section of NRM cadres at Parish and Village levels in Kisinga sub-county Kasese district, faulted the loss of the past Parliamentary seat to disintegration among the party supporters.
During the Party dialogue meeting held yesterday at Good Samaritan Skills Centre in Kajwenge Parish, Chaired by the Deputy RDC Kasese district in charge of Bukonzo County, Lt. Maate Magwara, Mr. Milton Bwambale Manyanza, the NRM registrar for Kirembo Village, Mr. Matia Saad Basigha and Christopher Bisogho, the NRM Chairperson for Kanyughunya village, described as mare speculation that Kisanga is dominated by the Opposition FDC emphasizing that should the NRM Party agree on sole candidature it would be a walk over.

Lt. Magwara, refuted the idea of sole candidature in Bukonzo County East Constituency, saying every Ugandan has a constitutional right to contest on any elective position. Lt. Magwara speaking……
