Parents and guardians in Kasese district with pregnant and breast feeding young mothers who already registered for their PLE exams have been advised to allow them sit for their final exams.
While speaking to the media this morning, the Kasese District Education Officer, Mr. George Mainja requested parents to allow candidates sit their final exams if they were to enroll for secondary education next year.

Just yesterday, the deputy RDC in charge of Bukonzo County, Lt. Matte Magwara had regretted the increased cases of early pregnancies within the district, noting that about 17 pupils below 18 years from Bukangara Primary school had been pregnant in less than a term, a number that is worrying and not even reported police.
