Defection across political parties in Kasese may in future attract no excitement after some politicians seemingly un principled over their decisions to stay or cross to other political parties.

About a fortnight ago, Hon. Moses Mbalase, the former Municipal councilor representing Kirembe Ward was among over ninety members of the opposition, mainly from FDC who crossed to the ruling NRM political party.

The same Hon. Mbalase was yesterday(31st.January.2022) welcomed back to his original FDC party, saying he defected to the NRM just because of the disagreements caused by the Hon. Centenary Robert and Ntaboose Gideon who failed for the Kasese Municipal MP seat in the last year`s general elections.

The FDC`s national delegation led by their party President, Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriate was in Kasese to reconcile some of the conflicting parties, including welcoming back to the party, Mr. Centenary who was also appointed the National FDC Assistant Secretary for Mobilization.

    Hon. Mbalase speaking 1..…..

He apologizes to the members of his mother party FDC but also the NRM he had crossed to, before pledging total commitment to serving the blue opposition party. Hon. Mbalase speaking2…..

Mr. Ronald Kabuku, the FDC party ambassador in Kasese district who represented the District party chairperson Mr. Saulo Maate commended Mr. Mbalase for his decision before criticizing the ruling party for what he alleged to be bribes to lure some community members to their political party than strengthening service delivery to the electorates.

    Hon. Kabuku speaking ……

He asked the community members to stand firm for regime change in the near future. END
