Over 300 hundred foot pilgrims from the Diocese of Kasese in Uganda and Beni-Butembo in the Democratic Republic of Congo have today reached safely to Namugongo shrines for the annual Marty’s Day celebrations.
Mr. Peter Isingoma Wa Nyamuhanga a pilgrim told our reporter that they arrived at Namugongo at Midday with worm welcome from believers in Christ.
Isingoma said they did not face serious challenges along the way despite minor issues that were immediately handled by the team leaders and security officers escorting them to Namugongo.

Most of them pilgrims, trek to Namugongo, to pray through the blessed Mother Mary, Mother of the church, as they join the rest of the believers in celebrating the Holy Day. END.
