Kasese Catholic Women Apostolate Sacco beneficiaries across the Diocese have commended the Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kasese for establishing the Sacco that has financially empowered members of the community.
During a tour of the beneficiaries yesterday, Ms. Melenia Mbindule, a local resident of Kisanze village in Kabiriri parish in Bugoye subcounty commended the Sacco leadership for the 300,000 shillings she borrowed; bought piglets and goats in 2022, that have boosted her income despite some challenges.
She told a Sacco delegation on an evaluation tour that her 3 million shillings profits had helped her refurbish her house and save part for inputs into her piggery project. Ms Melenia speaking…….
Ms Jane Mujuni, a fishing business woman and a Sacco beneficiary residing in Katunguru landing site in Lake Katwe subcounty, described their Sacco as a game changer, calling for more financial back up interventions of the project that was aimed to financially empower mothers and their families. In Nyamwamba West cell in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Robyn Kyabura, said proper planning, borrowing for a purpose and sticking to the original budget as a couple has made the Sacco very paramount to their family.

Mr. Apollo Ndungo Muleju, the Sacco manager, called for unity, faithfulness, accountability and transparency between couples seeking loans to make the credits more profitable to them and their families.
