The Principle lands officer in the ministry of land and Housing, Ms Rose Bako Ezabuku has asked cultivators and cattle keepers on the disputed Kabukero land in Karusandara Sub County, Kasese district to maintain the status quo and joint meeting for lasting solution over their land challenges.
Addressing cultivators and cattle keepers after locus on the disputed piece of land, Ms Bako Rose said the solution lies in the hands of the two conflicting sides of cultivators and cattle keepers who must sit for peace until the Ministry clearly opens the boundaries.
She said that whereas time will come for the boundaries to be opened, co-existence and peaceful living is key. Ms. Bako Rose speaking……

To the cultivators, several meeting have be organized but with no solution the fact that the cattle keepers indicate supremacy and believe too much in their cattle that are a threat to crops. Some cultivators…..
