Kasese Grade one magistrate has released on bail the Principal for Rwenzori Angels Training Institute, Mr. Boniface Baluku Sindani Kojo and his academic Registrar, Mr. Joseph Agaba Mbaka, accused of blackmailing their students over academic certificates.
Court presided over by His Worship Isa Alinda, heard that in 2023 while at Rwenzori Angels training institute, the accused administrators received money from one Mr. Venesio Muhindo, Ms Sarah Kiiza and many other former students to register for national certificates in nursery teaching but in vain.
The same court also heard that Mr. Kojo Boniface Baluku, the principal and his academic registrar however kept promising in vain till they were arrested, according to the plaintiffs. Joznet Balyathire speaking……
Defense lawyer, Luke Kanyonyi from Kanyonyi and Co. advocates, successfully prayed to court to grant bail to the accused on grounds of advanced age and able to present substantial sureties. END
