Wakiso Court Grade One Magistrate Esther Nyandoi has declined to issue an arrest warrant against Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine regarding his age case.

Lawyer Male Mabirizi wanted an arrest warrant issued against the legislator for snubbing court summons.

The Magistrate also allowed the Director of Public Prosecution to take over the matter because they do not need permission and reasons to takeover private criminal prosecution.

Immediately after the ruling, Mabirizi applied for the typed proceedings to appeal against the Magistrate’s decision for allowing the DPP to take over his case. END
