Hon. Leonard Kasereka, the councilor representing Kisanga Ward, Nyamwamba Division in Kasese municipality, has formally acknowledged council’s decision to suspend him from attending council meetings.
Addressing a press conference at Trans-Africa Holiday Inn on Tuesday, Hon. Kasereka who is currently the NRM flag bearer for Kisanga Ward to Kasese Municipal council, said he won’t be silenced by selfishness promoted by some political leaders he alleges had forgotten the interest of the people they represent. Hon. Kasereka, who headed works and technical services ministry at Nyamwamba division council, was suspended for indiscipline and disruption of council business over his resistance against council’s decision to suspend the construction of Kisanga market shed till the 2026/7 financial budget. END
