There was drama like scenario at the office of the local council one chairperson for Kidodo cell in Kasese Municipality as a section of the seemingly excited local residents cheered for the arrest of Mr. Robert Syamutsangira; being in possession of alleged stolen duck and two turkeys.
The area secretary for Publicity, Mr. Bashiru Bwambale and the locals who reported repeated cases of theft of domestic animals and birds, were disappointed that Mr. Syamutsangira, the suspect, vanished as they wanted to discuss the matter, thus, forcing police, backed by the local leaders, to follow on and arrest him. When asked, Mr. Syamutsangira, the suspect, denied the allegation, adding that the three days he kept the birds, were to give him the appropriate time to identify the owners, one of whom was his immediate neighbor. Mr. Syamutsangira speaking……
