    By Enos Masereka,

The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has donated relief items to the disaster and the June ADF rebel attack victims in Bukonzo County West in Kasese district.

According to our reporter, each of more than 400 beneficiaries received 10 kilograms of posho, five of rice and grounds nuts respectively, sugar cooking oil and soap among other items.

Delivering the donation at All Saints customs church of Uganda yesterday, Rev. Betty Mweru the Assistant Sub dean for St. Paul’s Cathedral who represented the Bishop, asked the beneficiaries to be strong in Christ despite what they pass through because the creator knows their predicaments.

Rev. Edson Thakolerya, the parish Vicar of All Saints Parish appreciated the Bishop for the relief he said was timely for the attack and disaster victims. Rev. Thakolerya speaking…….

Some of the beneficiaries, including Mr. Manasi Kakuhi from Kamasasa I village and Janet Masika like many other beneficiaries commended the donor for the donation. Some beneficiaries speaking…….

Earlier, Rev. Mweru who called for constant prayers for peace among the local community members, said Bishop Nason was concerned that the current threats by the ADF was frustrating farming by some families in Uganda, across in the DR Congo. END
