The implementation of Kasese Municipality Drainage Master Plan took center stage in the agenda of Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, one of the contenders for the Kasese Municipality Member of Parliament seat.
This occurred during a joint rally held yesterday in Kikonzo and Kidodo cells within Kasese Municipality.
Mr. Kithulha, a professional surveyor, warned that Kasese town could face devastating floods if leaders fail to urgently engage the government on the necessity of a proper drainage system. He emphasized that this matter should be prioritized in the National Budget.
Meanwhile, Ms. Daina Nasuna Maria and Mr. Saturday Yofesi Madaraka pledged to empower women and youth groups, promote education, foster unity, and extend access to clean water within the municipality.
