There was excitement among the local residents of Nyakiyumbu subcounty as the construction of the 8.7 kilometer Katholhu-Kayanja tarmac road begins.
Ms Razia Muhindo, Mr. Stephano Kirere and Moses Bwambale like many other local residents described the development as a dream come true to foster development.
Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairperson commended government for the tarmac road that will not only guarantee security and cross border trade but ease communication for the local community members he asked to own and make good use of the project.
