A section of local leaders in Kihara Ward, Nyamwamba division in Kasese Municipality has called for regulation of some business shows and presentations they allege have turned into sources of un lawlessness.
Responding to the Kasese Municipal leaders who were in the Ward to sensitize the local community about the possibility for pre-urban farming over the weekend, Ms. Jona Kabugho, Ms. Yeresi Kyakimwa and Ms. Joy Bwolhubasa alleged that organizers of big commercial gathering only take in consideration their security, leaving the local community only at the mercies of God.
In his brief speech, Mr. Robert Bwambale, the Kihara cell Vice chairperson called for his enforcement against some local residents he said were cutting every tree at their disposal for charcoal burning thereby, exposing the area to weather risks. Mr. Bwambale speaking….
Mr. Venesio Sirimughania, the Kasese Municipal councilor representing Kihara Ward to Kasese called for proper expenditure of funds under Parish Development Model if they were to score and refund as guided by the initiative. Mr. Sirimughania speaking……
Hon. Teddy Kasambangene Kyakimwa, the Kasese municipal secretary for production and Marketing warned the locals against unselective cutting of trees before pledging to regulate the popular Circus shows she said will not anymore be cleared at the organizers’ wish.

She also asked parents and guardians to collaborate with the local leaders and development partners against early pregnancies and marriages that have ruined many families. END
