Mr. Doviko Ngoroto, the National Resistance Movement chairperson for Bwesumbu subcounty in Kasese district has called for massive involvement of the local community members into plans against causes of seasonal disasters in Kasese district.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio over the weekend, Mr. Ngoroto who regrets the repeated seasonal landslides and floods that mostly affected the parishes of Kaswa and Kasangali where about 60 households were destroyed last year, asked the local leaders and community members not only to lament and call for support during disasters but joint efforts to promoting preventive measures, including planting trees to save lives.
