The local leadership of Nyamutswa village, Kyalhumba subcounty in Kasese District has called for a deliberate move by the district leadership to link the area to the district road and water networks for the improved living conditions of the locals.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio in Nyamutswa yesterday, Mr. Ezra Kasighalire, the area local council one chairperson who called for timely medication among community members to avoid what he called costly medication emergencies, expressed concern over the risky way expectant mothers are manually transported to health facilities.
He was also concerned that despite several pledges during the hot political campaigns in the past, no major interventions have been done in the fields of water, health and roads. Mr. Ezra speaking……..
Other than depending on unclean dirty water, Mr. Ezra revealed that only four teachers had been managing Nyamutswa primary with an enrolment of about 800 learners, and calls for more qualified teaching staff by the district, had landed on deaf ears. Mr. Ezra speaking2….
He later called for hard work, love for one another and promotion of morals among the young people as means to nurture a well guided and focused future population. END
