The National Coordinator for prevention of trafficking in Uganda Police, Mr. Julius Tuyinomujuni has called for collaborated effort in the fight against traffic in persons.
Initial reports indicate that Ninety percent of human trafficking takes place within Uganda while ten percent involve external trafficking.
Speaking at a one day stakeholders evaluation meeting about Human Trafficking held at Sandton hotel in Kasese town yesterday, Mr. Tuyinomujuni, emphasized that traffickers take advantage of offering scholarships and Jobs to the vulnerable people in the community.
