Assistant Supretendant of Police Isimail Kaawo, the human rights and legal officer for Rwenzori East Region has called for joint efforts against those he called unprofessional and corrupt police officers he said taint the image of the forces.
Addressing a community dialogue meeting organized by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in partnership with Great Lakes Peace Center held at Nyamwamba Division headquarters yesterday, ASP Kaawo, asked community members to use the available arms of the police forces against undisciplined officers whose unprofessional conduct promotes mistrust of the forces by the locals.
