    Col. Mawa has asked residents of Rwenzori sub-region to remain united.

    The Former Kasese district Boss Col. Mawa Muhindo has asked residents of Rwenzori sub-region to remain united and support the ruling NRM government ahead of 2021 polls.

    While representing the deputy chief of defense forced Lt Gen. Wilson Mbadi yesterday at the burial of late Evanisi Kyakimwa Mathe 97, the mother of the bishop Rwenzori field Pastor Mutwanga Ezakiel in Bugaya village, Katebwa Sub County Bunyangabo district, Col. Mawa who reminded mourners about the recent insecurity situation in the region said time is ripe for Kasese residents to support NRM for restoring peace in the area.

    Col. Mawa who hailed religious leaders for promoting faithfulness among believers in Christ, challenged mourners to become peace loving citizens and maintain peace as a cardinal role towards economic development.

    The Executive secretary for Rwenzori Field Pastor Bony Bwambale asked mourners to cast all their burden to the cross.
