Mr. Cleus Bwambale, a contender for the Member of Parliament seat for Bukonzo County East, is among several candidates from Kasese District under the National Unity Platform (NUP) who have been duly nominated.

Other nominated candidates include Mr. Jonan Bamwenda for the Busongora County North parliamentary seat, Ms. Fatuma Kamama for Kasese District Woman MP, Mr. Muthoma Robert for Kasese Municipality, and Mr. Gad Mbayahi Bakwanamaha for the LCV seat, among others.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio last evening, Mr. Cleus described NUP as the only opposition political party with a focused vision.
He called on the electorate to entrust him with the leadership position, which he believes will foster development. Mr.Cleus speaking….
Mr. Cleus stated that, if elected, he would prioritize the fight against corruption, improvement of healthcare services, and the enhancement of food security, among other key issues.
Meanwhile, Hon. Sylvia Biira Tafula, the Deputy Speaker for Bwera Sub-county, has urged women to balance Domestic work with Politics.
