The Parish priest for St. Francis of Assisi pastoral centre-Kidodo, Rev. Fr. Richard Sausi Richard Businge has hailed President Museveni’s decision to sign the anti-homosexuality bill into law.
This will safe guard indigenous cultures, moral and children in Uganda.
In his homily while celebrating Martyrs day yesterday, Fr.Sausi said he was grateful because the new law reinforces provisions of holding accountable perpetrators, adding that it will bolster protection of children against being recruited or groomed into the vice.
He said some Ugandans martyrs were killed in Buganda after refusing homosexuality which is strongly condemned by the church.
