Classes have resumed normally at Margherita demonstration primary school in Kasese municipality after the fire incident last evening, Kasese guide radio has learnt.
Addressing education stakeholders, most of them parents and guardians, the school’s Executive Director, Mr. David Kabau hailed mainly security, former Ugandan Ambassador to their DRC, Mr. James Mbahimba and the community for their timely interventions that saved lives and most property, a move that has enabled normal operations today.
Mr. Kabau said plans were underway to fix the affected part of the dormitory after an electric short circuit as a result of power inconsistencies last evening. Mr. Kabau speaking……
