Believers in Christ have been called upon to share salvation of souls by praying for those in purgatory, Rev. Fr. Augustine Byaruhanga has asked.
Fr. Byaruhanga said as a pilgrim church on earth has a mission to aid those in suffering in purgatory so that they may enter heaven and also intercede for us in our time of need.
In his Homily while presiding over Holy Mass at St. John Kisanga Roman Catholic Church on the feast of the commemoration of all the faithful departed, Rev Fr. Byaruhanga asked Christians to use this month to pray for the departed souls, saying it an obligation of every catholic to pray of the departed souls for God to forgive them.

Fr. Byaruhanga who is the Kasese diocesan Pontifical mission society coordinator warned Christians against living a stress and painful life on earth which he said is short but happily prepare for life everlasting.
