Rev. Fr. Lenard Sumbuku Sibitha, the Parish Priest for Kasanga in the Diocese of Kasese has argued Christians against cleaving to acts of sin he said widens the gap between them and their Creator.
In his Homily while presiding over Memorial Mass for the late Mzee Joseph Kaherwa in Rusese B cell in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district on Monday, Rev. Fr. Sumbuku asked Christians to make an audit of their lives and repent from acts that taint their relationship with God.
Referring to one Opio, a poor but talented athlete in primary school, who shared clothes with his poor father over poverty, Rev, Fr. Sumbuku warned the local community members against anger, lose language and pride; asked Christians to let go their wrong acts, and pick up with the life style that depicts their relationship with Christ and neighbors during and after the lent season.
