By Peter Masereka,
Believers in Christ have been asked to be faithful if they were to be relevant to communities and the Lord they served.
Christians were also asked to use their positions against lies that have left many in unending challenges ranging from finances to loss of employment.
Presiding over service at St. Francis Kighuramu Catholic Church in Kitholhu subcounty yesterday, the Head Catchiest for Kamasasa sub parish, Mr. Charles Kapapaya was concerned over some Christians who prioritize gains from any work than offering a service to help God’s people.
Mr. Kapapaya later challenged Christians to look into good use of different gifts God has given them than mere lamentations forced by laziness and less focus by some. Mr. Kapapaya speaking1………
The local Church Catchiest, Mr. Oniziforo Kato who called for support to the project, said the mini-donors’ conference was aimed at soliciting funds for the construction of head Catechist’s house now that Kighuramu has a Eucharistic Centre. Mr. Kato speaking…..
The Chairperson for the Construction committee, Mr. Peter Kasirisyabulya hailed Bishop Kibira for giving them Eucharistic centre that has strengthened their faith; backed by the interfaith unity in the area.
The Chief Guest at the function, Mr. Timothy Murugahara said he was confident that the construction plans would materialize with the unity and hard work of the Christians. END.
