Mr. Chance Kahindo, a famous local musician in Kasese is the Kasese Municipal Mayor elect after beating NRM`s and incumbent Mayor Godfrey Kabyanga with a difference of 635 votes.
According to the results from the yesterday`s Mayoral elections in Kasese yesterday, the Kasese Returning officer, Mr. Ismail Atwijukire Takih declared FDC Flag bearer Mr. Chance Kahindo Sibyabugha after garnering 11,572 votes, equivalent to 50.86% compared to Mr. Kabyanga`s 10,937 votes that make 48.07%.
