Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese District local council five chairperson, has reaffirmed his earlier campaign against corruption, discrimination and regionalism that is reportedly promoted by some politicians in Kasese.
Addressing community members in Rugendabara-Kikongo town council on his arrival from his nomination tour at the NRM headquarters in Kampala this afternoon, Mr. Muhindi who is working hard for a second term of office, said promoting education, including skilling; as well as agriculture, tourism and engaging government for a permanent settlement for the Internally Displaced People, are top on his manifesto.

Addressing her National Resistance Movement supporters at Trans-Africa Holiday Inn in Kasese Municipality, Ms Sarah Ithungu Baleke pledged to promote tourism, improved health services and skilling should she be entrusted with the mandate to represent Kasese district in parliament.
