The State Minister for Local Government, Hon. Jenipher Namuyonga has directed chief administrative officers all over the country to carry out political induction for all the recently elected local leaders as a measure to ease their deliberation on matters of public concern.
Closing the annual general meeting for Uganda Local government Association held at Kasese Multi-purpose hall in Kasese district yesterday, Hon. Jenipher said that whereas central Government was planning for national induction, the local one would give the newly elw3ected leaders a chance to inquired on a number of issues.
She also directed them to withdraw the old stamps for new ones to all the local council one chairperson for uniformed system of stamping.
