The old boys and old girls of Bwera Secondary School in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council, Kasese District, has established an annual football tournament, played by different cohorts of the school alumni.
The initiative established in 2024 aims to strengthen relationships and networking among former students.
In his speech on Thursday shortly after the competition, held at the Bwera Secondary School playground, Mr. Kenneth Masereka, the president of the league, officially announced SEG Soccer Club as the champions of the 2025/26 edition after defeating Kinyenze Soccer Club.

Mr. Yokonia Bwambale, the Head Teacher of Bwera Secondary School, , commended the OBs and OGs for the initiative, encouraged them to consider forming a single, united team and registering it in the Uganda Big League, noting that football is currently among the most lucrative careers.

Mr. Milton Masereka, a retired secondary school head teacher for Bwera SS, also applauded the OBs and OGs for maintaining their bond, saying it would foster continued connectivity and unity among them.
